Remarks

Because I wanted to study agriculture, and I didn't score the exact marks for going to the govt. Institutions, So I choose this private University and it's the one and only private agriculture College in W.B.

Course Curriculum Overview

It's not bad actually, because the faculties are are from best agriculture colleges and also some of them has master degree on their subjects, Curriculum is good, there are enough labs for agriculture students purpose and we do field work, as their is a large field inside the campus, but this agriculture College is still not ICAR affiliated, that's a demerit of this college, though our college is not ICAR affiliated, but they follow properly ICAR rules and the other govt agriculture colleges, that's a very good point of this college.

We are the second batch of agriculture, so still there is not a single batch who have got a placement , but they have assured we will get placement, and after one batch placement I will have the idea of the placement of this college, but in last year a team from jio visited our college, and took a quiz programme, that was really appreciable

College Events

Cultiral side is relly good, I take part in dancing in some of the cultural activities, annual fest, teacher's day is really has a grand arrangements , and also some other cultural arrangements are also there.

Campus Life

There are proper equipment in labs, library is really good, sports facilities is not noticible, and wi-fi has some problems, because we don't use Wi-Fi of the college, agriculture need equipment s are available in labs,

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed.
