Remarks

It's a reputed college and getting into MGM is not that easy. Also the college is near to my home. And I have heard good things about the college faculty all these factors was the reason behind choosing the camp.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is upto date. The faculty is good but too strict. The college believes in practical knowledge. The teachers are highly qualified. There are many students from south India. So sometimes equal treatment does not happen. Yet there is no raging.

I will apply for tata scholarships after passing my 1st year

I dont know much about all these. But almost all the student gets job and with an amazing pay package. That is one of the most attractive thing about the college

College Events

Not the best. If one dreams of the events and amazing college life. This college isnt for them. No fancy events happens in the college. And the events are divided by courses. like the bsc will have different courses and engineering and dental will have different events. But they do conduct few events. NOT FANCY GUYS.

Fees and Financial Aid

They have an amazing scholarships. There are tata scholarships for students who get more than 70% and various other scholarships for students from economically backward background.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is strong. they have good technical support as well. The classrooms are equipped with power point presentations and good benches and tables. Though the washroom are not the cleanest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

There will be no personal interview for the B.Sc courses admission at MGMUHS. Admission is based on merit of Class XII examination. However, there will be a document verification process.
