I chose this university because it is located in Capital city of Delhi and is known of providing distance learning and I wanted the same. I opted for Bachelor of arts course. I like the facilities and management of the university.
Course Curriculum Overview
IGNOU runs two days classes in a week one can take these clasess if they want. The professors are aged between 28 to 45 years and they are qualified and have a good command on their respective subjects and teaching skills. They are well educated and have the good experience of teachings.
Placement Experience
Many companies like tata, genpact, airtel, telecom companies, serco amd many more visit the centres for campus recruitment. Somewhere between 30- 45% of total students get the jobs. The placement takes place through some interview rounds to test their skill and ability. The seniors are very friendly and one can take advantage of them.
College Events
Gender ratio is 40 is to 60 of boys and girls. Many events or special classes are conducted specially for girls so as to provide them with self defence techniques students can play different sports in their break time but no specific sports events or practice takes place,students have to do practicals of some specific subjects in labs. As ignou is a open university not many cultural or academic events takes place althogh some events and festival takes place in the centres on account of big indian festivals.
