Remarks
The college is an average one. If you want to have fun and extra curricular activities, this college is not a choice. If you are not going to stay in hostel this college is an option. Fee structure is feasible.
Entrance Preview
I got selected to the college through Kerala State Entrance. This college has been selected since it was one of the above average colleges n the area. There was nothing much with the interview. Just went for the admission process and submitted the required documents. The college has been given as the first option.
Course Curriculum Overview
The student cannot choose any electives. The college decided the elective and the whole batch has to follow it. Whatever electives the university has the students cannot choose any of it.
Internships Opportunities
There is no internship or stipend i have experienced. I haven't heard of any companies coming for internship and provide stipend. I haven't undergone any internship. No news regarding stipend is heard from the college.
Placement Experience
Placement cell is very weak. Only very less number of students got placed. A few of them got in some MNCs. The package provided by companies also is very less. 3 LPA or below was the package by most of the companies. Top MNCs in the country never come for recruitment.
College Events
The college does not give any importance for any events. Technical or cultural events will be conducted once in an year or two. Not much festivals are conducted in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. It is similar to that in other colleges in the area. 35k per year was the fee for merit seat in 2013. For management seats the fees was almost double that of the merit seats.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. There aren't any like that. There are some banks nearby that provide educational loans for the students. But the scholarship facility has not been availed by the students in my knowledge.
Campus Life
The campus is not so thrilling. The college does not give any importance for any events. Technical or cultural events will be conducted once in an year or two. Not much festivals are conducted in the college. No extra curricular activities are given any importance.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel and food are not good. The day scholars cant even enter the hostel to take rest if they feel sick. The rooms are s small. The food is below average.
Alumni/Alumna
Haven't event heard of any alumni network. Most of the students won't even come back to visit the college. They will just keep the contact with the faculties who are close to them.
Exam Structure
The exams are conducted just once before the university exams. Frequent lab exams are not conducted. I have not experienced a hectic day with exams.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are average. There are some exceptionally excellent faculties having doctorate as qualification. Some of the faculties are really helping in nature while some are just opposite.
