Remarks

College management is very strict in terms of discipline and growth. Every student has to abide by the rules and regulations of the college. My conclusion about the college will be to have improvement in certain fields Such as mess food and entry timing for hostelites. Overall the college is good and best in any private college. One may have to think about the fee structure here because apart from the loan other expenses are also very high.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE-33000 air, opted for computer science branch over others because at the end of the course one is going to work in software and technology fields only. And many companies during campus placements only allow the cs and it branch students to appear for the selection process. The admission process for this college was simple. The candidate have to first go for document verification and then pay the the tuition fees and process is done.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum of the college is followed as per the university course syllabus. For the first year, all the branches are having common subjects. Later, each branch is having it's branch papers synonymous with the increase of batch. It's a four year course. At the final year, the course consists of less subjects and more projects work. There are 2 academic projects-major and minor. Apart from that, every branch has to make one technical project in their 6th semester. This activity is being enriched for knowledge enhancement of students in technical rounds of campus placements. Each project group is assigned a project guide who are mostly the college faculties. The guide helps and nurtures their students in making one real time application which will be having its value in practical world. Faculties of the college are mostly good. They don't bother about the formal lectures, attendance and all that stuff. They only focus in lab work, projects and internship programmes.

Internships Opportunities

I had one internship from college at mindfire solutions. I had done a project on ehs model development for industries. The project consist of real time application development using dot net technology along with Sal server. I was offered a stipend of 25000 rupees from the company along with food and accommodation. I had a great time working there as an intern. I learned a lot at that time and it was my summer vacation. So I got a good time to spend.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement statistics mostly comprises of 3 companies: Infosys, wipro(both are day 1 sharing company) and capgemini. All these company are coming every year for recruitment. And apart from these, other companies are tech mahindra, cognizant, mind tree, TCS. These companies are coming as off campus/pool campus. So they have less figures of placed students as compared to former three. Package for all the companies mentioned lies within a range of 3-3.5 lac rupees.almost every student passes out from college with one job in hand.

College Events

3.5

College event comprises of techfest, annual function and freshers welcome mostly. Apart from these every month dj night happens and many festivals are celebrated inside the college campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a little bit expensive in comparison to the other private colleges in the state. The tuition fees for first year was 92, 500 for the first year and 86, 500 from the next year onwards. The hostel and bus fees are separate. And mess bill comes on a monthly basis. So on an average it costs around 1.25-1.3 lakh per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan can be availed at the time of admission process also. I have availed a loan of 3, 73, 000 as educational loan. Also, I have availed scholarship of 10000 each year. So that makes 40000 for the four years. That is given by the state to the residential and university affiliated colleges. Also if a student is having talent in academic or software fields then the college provides various opportunities to earn and learn both. Prize money are there in techfest and exams for earning certain scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

College always tries to maintains the academic and hostel life culture. Some students organize dorm parties and games in hostel premises. Also for the computer game lovers, games like cs, dota and fifa are organized from time to time. There is an average sex ratio between boys and girls. So each gender is given equal opportunity here. Overall college life and academics is good in every aspect. Just few things need to be improved like mess food and entry timing for hostelites etc.

Hostel Facilities

2

Mess food quality is very poor and dinner is the worst I have ever eaten in my life. Hostel is good in terms of cleaniness and all. It is very disciplined and there are study hours followed after the classes. And entry timing is also there for the hostelites. The mess food needs a lot of improvement and also timing for the mess should also be modified. Breakfast and lunch are adjustable. But dinner needs a revolution to make it eatable.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students will act like seniors in your first year. Yes, ragging is a part of college and it goes for the first semester. But it only helps the students to have more interaction with the seniors and they became friends for the first 3 years of your college life.

Exam Structure

Exam consists of 8 semesters. Each semester consists of 2 internals. And apart from these laboratories have their grand viva at the end of every semester which have their own weightage. Sometimes the semester exams are at second half of the day which in turn makes the day full hectic and stressed. Each subject contains 70 marks in sems and 30 marks internals which are sent by college.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
