Remarks

I heard that the college is very nice for science subjects. I saw many reviews on the college. Then I came to know that the facility of the college are really good and very helpful. They take care students study. Also the college charges a low amount of fees which is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Mathematics Honours course is really vast. It is difficult for anyone to complete the whole syllabus on time but teachers are so helpful and they provide notes and other Technics to remember the whole study.

Placement Experience

The college gives the opportunity of placements for final year students. Many well known companies visits our college per year for selecting the employees. Many students get job from TCS, Tata, Amazon and start their careers. Last year two students from Mathematics department got a huge amount job that is nearly 140000 per year.

College Events

The college life is too good. Beside study every student can enrich themselves with Many extra curricular activities. Throughout the whole year many seminars, webinars, science fair are organized by the college authority. The teachers day program is most attractive. In the month of December or January annual sports day is organised, which is refusing for students and teachers.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
