Remarks

The college administration is very good and it is well known for discipline and studies. The teachers are very good the faculty provided by them is also good. My mother suggested to join here as she was also the part of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college follows the syllabus prescribed by University of Calcutta. Our all faculties is very good and it is well provided especially our Accountancy department. It is best college for Commerce. We have six semesters during the entire course.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Placement Experience

We have three shifts in our college but nono of this have placement facility. Under graduates donot get such facility. This facility is only given to post gratuaduates students only in their final year of the course.

College Events

Campus life is going good. We enjoys many extracurricular activities apart from studies. This year our seniors organized Holi festival in the college premise. Along with that they held college festival in Nazrul Manch and it is the best performing event by our college.

Campus Life

Our college being a goverment college is quite big and spacious. Our campus is under the survillence of camers and our classrooms have projectors. College canteen is located in ground floor with good food quality.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
