Remarks
This college is highly reputed and has good teaching methods. Since it comes under Calcutta University, i feel that it's going to add the weightage in my degree at the end of 3 years. Nevertheless the faculty of this college could have been better.
Course Curriculum Overview
Both theoretical and practical lessons related to the subject are provided by the college. Since, the syllabus is quite vast, thus it is quite updated too. It gives equal attention to both the aspects in its syllabus. Ratio of prcatical and theory classes is 4:6. However, in my opinion the practical faculty is better than the other one.
Placement Experience
Since I'm just a first year student i don't know much about the placement facility. But as much as I, the placement opportunities are provided to a limited number of students depending on their course.
College Events
There is a list of events that the college organizes. Annual Sports Day and Annual Program Day where all the college students are encouraged to participate. 'SRIJAN 'which is our college fest is a culture exchange competition that is celebrated hugely.
Campus Life
Some parts of the college infrastructure are excellent. Like, the library is mesmerizing, the swimmng hall is great and lab classes are very intriguing. But a few areas have scope for improvement. Although the college playground is huge but it is completely concrete and doesn't have an astro turf to involve more types of sports. Moreover the dance room and gym room can also improve.
