Remarks

I personally choose it because of it's extraordinary academical records. It has great faculty and Amazing teaching staff. Not only academics but it also concentrates on the other co-curriculars. There are different societies such as dance society, drama society, sports society. It is listed to be one of the best colleges for bcom.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college follows the guidelines of the calcutta university. It follows the CBCS method- the updated systed." Faculty is family" they are not only helpful but also supportive. There is no questions about academics. I personally choose this college for it's extraordinary academical records. The teaching staff is very kind.

Placement Experience

There are no such placements and jod opportunity in our college. Maybe one or two companies take a few best alumni but, i haven't heard anything about the placement facilities. Job opportunities are poor. Maybe there are some startups but i haven't heard of any till now.

College Events

To be honest when i got to know that only one annual cutural event is celebrated i felt quite disappointed. But then after i participated in the event, now i can't wait for the never event to take take. Also there is a sports day held every year. Every small to big events like holi, saraswati puja and more are celebrated in the campus. There are different social groups for dance, art, drama, sports, literature and our college participates in almost all types of inter college events. So it's not only studies but also fun.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Moderate College Life.

After HS I applied many colleges but I didn't got chance at the top notch colleges as they damand more marks than I got. After trying so many colleges I finally got admitted to this college.
