Remarks

This is the only University in the state which provides bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Data Analytics and AI. Also the University campus is very large, filled with greenery everywhere and the hostel is also good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good, along with very much qualified faculties. The curriculum is set to maintain the latest standards. Also the specialization courses that are provided are much better than any other university in the state.

Course Fees: INR 416000 per year

Placement Experience

In the past Godrej, TCS and many other companies visited the campus. The Entrepreneur Cell of the college is collaborated by IIM Joka and there is an incubation hub for the startups.

College Events

The annual event Impulse which is the largest is jointly held by TNU and NITMAS. Students from various Universities participate in the events of the festival. Also many guests come with DJs. It's an incredible festival for a college life. Along with that we have Sankalp which is the main tech-fest of the University.

Campus Life

All over the campus infrastructure is huge with high speed wifi connectivity. Every type of sports facilities are available starting from cricket to volleyball. Also the library is one of the best library in any University with huge number of reference books available and the labs are also gen-next with superior quality equipments.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed.
