Remarks

I had taken admission in B.Sc applied psychology course as i like this subject. I am a dayschooler student but hostel facility available in the campus.The college environment is very good and antiragging campus. Faculties are experienced and helpful. They help students a lot. The management system of the college is very good. Various extracurricular activities like sports, magazine publications etc. are available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course is good and syllabus is updated. Faculties are very helpful. Samardita ma'am, Neranjana ma'am, Aritrika ma'am, Suvoshree ma'am, Gouranga sir, Koyel ma'am, Manashi ma'am, Souvik Sir, Sudeshna ma'am, Rahul sir are good and helpful.

Placement Experience

Our college provides various internship programs at various hospitals, institutes etc. Many companies visit our colleges to offer various programmes and placements. As it is an engineering and management based college, my friends got internship in various prestigious companies.

College Events

There are various cultural programmes like college fest, well fare etc. in every year. Students can participate in various programmes like dance, quiz competition, recitation, fashion show etc. Big festival conducted by college in every year.

Campus Life

Sports facilities available with experienced coach. Sports are like football,cricket, busket ball etc. Library is big with a huge collection of books. Librarians are very good and helfful. There is good place to self study or group study in library.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Admission can be taken here only after completing higher secondary from a legitimate institution. This college has its own website on Google, from there the admission process can be completed. One can sit for the final semester exam by taking the two main tests of each semester. I have no idea about improving the admission process...Read More

Overall it was a smooth process. But there were many areas were they gave me misinformations like the course has been updated to 4 years but they gave me a bonafide of 3 years and i came to know it after my loan was passed.
