Remarks
School of Legal Studies is one the best law schools in Kerala and they provide zero lag course, that means you can complete your degree exactly in 5 years. The campus also played an important role, CUSAT is always a lively campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
Academics are good. We have a few good faculties, but there are also faculties who fail to give us the proper guidance. We have moot courts, which gives us a good court experience. When it comes to internships, we students have to go find them, a few among the faculty help us in that. Regular seminars of different subjects are offered.
Placement Experience
I have not had any such experience. As a first year law student we haven't had much internship opportunities. We will only receive such opportunities in future. So I won't be able to give much details about it.
College Events
CUSAT is rich in such kinds of activities and these activities make the campus different from all others. We have arts festivals, sports and many more activities. We also get to enjoy other department fests.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is not up to the mark. We lack even proper water flow to our washrooms. We don't have any wifi facilities. The library has a large collection of books, but students are only able to take two books at a time ( General Category Students).
Hostel Facilities
The boys hostel is cheap, but lack facilities. The flooring is not neat as it's just ordinary cement floor. Washrooms and usually maintained well even though it is a common one. Rooms are given on the basis of distance from our house to College and only 3 or 4 rooms are allotted for 10 to 15 people and the rooms are just normal ones in terms of size.
