Remarks
The college has a good reputation, has proper infrastructure with a good teaching faculty. This college provided this course to students who didn't have geography as a subject in their plus 2 level examination. Geography department in this college is really good with a great teaching faculty. I really feel lucky to be a part of this institution.
Course Curriculum Overview
I belonged to the last batch of the 1+1+1 2009,Regulation of the University. The next batch had their syllabus updated with the CBCS regulations. Our course didn't have much industrial exposure, but we had seminars that were conducted in the college. The other faculties in our college are also good with good exposure.
Placement Experience
College provides placement opportunities in the final semester and it also conducts training programs. But the number of students getting placed is currently less which can be improved.
College Events
The college fest Srijan is every year conducted with proper management, students from various colleges come and participate. The annual program and sports day is also conducted. Apart from these Active Learning Day, Bhasha Dibosh program and other departmental programs are conducted.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is very good. The main library of the college is really big with good quality books. Also there are seminar libraries in respective departments. The college also has good sports facilities and lab equipments. There is also a seminar room, a cafeteria and a common room.
