Remarks
Campus had a good infrastructure and lot of amenities in and around the campus. A good mix of students ranging from north indians to South indians to NRI students gave way to culturally diverse environment. Above all, lot of foreign collaboration gave hopes for MS in abroad universities.
Course Curriculum Overview
It follows FFCS( Fully Flexible Credit System) which allows revising the course content or syllabus every year, faculties can be chosen by the students during timetable selection process which makes the system more students friendly. Industrial visits are arranged once in a semester. If you are looking for a good quality content delivering faculty in ECE dept I would suggest Ralph Samuel Thangaraj. For physics I would suggest Sanjit Das.
Placement Experience
Samsung, Amazon, Schneider and top IT companies come in for campus placements and a fair amount of placements take place. However a bunch of Students end up with startups and a whole lot aim for higher education MS
College Events
I would honestly say I had the best college life. If you are a fun loving person choose hostel over dayscholars, nighttime fun events are the best. Vibrance is a cultural event that occurs every once a year for 3 days straight with DJ nights. Technovit is a technical event once a year for three days for all symposiums and technical events
Campus Life
Basketball court, volleyball court, cricket ground, inbuilt gym in both girls hostel and boys hostel, and inbuilt wifi in hostel and library. Lab with adequate equipments and lab coats are provided to all.
Hostel Facilities
Both Ac and Non Ac rooms area available and the fees vary accordingly. Number of sharing varies from 2 bedrooms to 4 bedrooms maximum. Inbuilt washing machine every alternate floor, Dhobhi and ironing facility provided too. TV in every alternate floor. Seperate mess for veg (50 k cost per year) and nonveg(70 k cost per year).
