Remarks

Shri Shikshayatan College is a good old reputed college, the faculty base is good,the teachers here are helpful, kind and good, i opted for Bcom because i am from a commerce background so i wanted to do bcom with my other professional course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college goes with an updated version of the course and the whole faculty base is punctual as well as helpful and interactive. They tend to give their best for the students from running notes to PDFs.

Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience

The companies which visited our college recently were PWC, DELOITTE, WIPRO, TCS and many call centre companies.

College Events

There are many extracurricular activites, which asks for students participation, students get the chance to opt for the one's they feel like, moreover their is one big event organised every year names SRIJAN which is a big event and the students enjoy alot.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is small as compared to the other colleges but is good on the same hand. The library is good. The sports area is pretty good but the common room is small and has less sports and gym equipments.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
