Remarks

I choose this college because of the value it got in india and also because of its placements which is better than any other college.This college has a very good reputation in india and the thing i like most about my college we can try everything it has all kinds of extracurriculars and the events are really nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is divided in four parts university core, university elective, program core and program elective and we have to complete total 160 credits. The curriculum is designed very nicely for all the programs. I belong to ECE so the program core has the complete indepth knowledge about my branch. Vit consist of FFCS where we get to chose our own faculty which is a great advantage for us because if we like a particular teacher in first sem so we can take them again and it helps to connect with the faculties.

Placement Experience

A lot of companies visited my college. The placements stats of my college are really nice.the companies are divided as super dream,dream and mass based on the package provided and popularity of the company. Even in this time of more than 150 companies have already come for masters and for bachelor's around 40 which is really nice. The best placements are from cse and it branches then electronics.

College Events

Campus life consists of everything academics, extracurricular, events. If you are interested in a particular activity/hobby you can join the respective club and it helps you to improve yourself and develop new skills. I like dance so i joined dance club and i learned bhangra after joining the club. You get on duties for club activites by which you can manage your club activities along with academics.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any such kind of loan facility but my college has provided scholarships to the rank holders of its entrance exam.

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure is really nice it includes two academic blocks, three hostels one for girl and two for boys. There is a building which consists of three floor, the ground floor has a restaurant and dominos then the first floor has gaming room and chai gulli(cafe) and the third floor has a gym. Academic block 1 consists of classes qnd all the fully equiped labs and academic block 2 is full of classes.

Hostel Facilities

Girls hostel consists of 15 floors both ac and non ac room is available. For senior students allotment is done on ranking basis. 2,3 and 4 bedded rooms are available. The hostel consists of gym, sports facilities like volleyball, garden,mess and night mess and a shop where you can buy essentials m

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains.
