Remarks

I chose this college because B. Com is in morning session. Professors are too good and helpful. This college have calm atmosphere, big campus, big library, big ground, canteen and gym. Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is exellent. Pursuing this course we have a knowledge about many important concepts like Acconting, economics, financial system, laws, IT, Marketting as well as digital marketing etc.

In Placements and job opportunities, our college is not good. So this only the bad side of our college. But after graduated or post graduated from this college, students are able to find jobs with there own qualifications.

Our college arranges many cultural, technical, competitive programmes like book fair, college social, freshers, Basant Utsab, Saraswati puja, writing competition and many other competitions and programmes. Many programmes are hold very big, many students participate in those programmes.

Campus Life

Our college have good infrastructure in library, sports, labs. In library we get all essencial books that we needed and our library is big and very quiet. Our college have a gym where our college's sportsman work out and stay fit. Our labs have all essencial equipments.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
