Remarks

I love Guru Nanak Dev University due to every thing which is not related to education like Cultural Fests, Infrastructure, Environment friendly campus, World Class Library, students diversity, etc. Coming to education quality, I would not recommend this college to you, but I also believe its not fault of university its indian education system we are being taught very old curriculum. But if someone is capable of learning by themselves then he/ she will find some group that will help in self growth. Coming to placements specifically for CS, its average i.e you will get from 3-7 LPA. But overall, if you want to enjoy your campus life then it's good enough university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is not good, its years old curriculum. Faculty is also average, but there are some exceptions too, most of professors are PHD.

Placement Experience

Its Good enough that you can get package of 3-7 LPA if you are from CS background. Major Companies Visiting our campus includes: TCS, Amdocs, Nagarro, Software AG, capgemini, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees is nominal when compared to another colleges i.e 1 Lac per year approx. But there are no merit scholarships and Financial Assistance is given only to very few peoples, and near to no campus jobs.

Campus Life

Life is great in our campus, there are many fest major are Youth festival and Jashan, there are many clubs and student societies best of them are CESS, ESF, etc. Our University also hold good rank in national cultural festival as well as National inter university sports.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.
