Remarks

1. I wanted to take admission in University of Delhi. That's why I chose Ramanujan college, DU 2. The ranking of the college is up to mark and as per my percentage it's best. And admitted in 3rd cutoff list. 3.The admission process took longer then expected but I managed it. 4.I took all the required documents with me and the Xerox copy if the original documents. 5. The faculty members are very good and highly qualified. 6.I used collegedunia for searching my college as per my expectation. 7. Infrastructure : wi-fi facility is not very good here, but labs, classrooms and library are very good and well furnished. But our college doesn't provide hostel facilities. However, the food served in the canteen is very affordable and up to the mark. 8. The sports and games equipment are available and it conducts various sports on campus. 9. Placement cell are active most of the time, they send messages about the company which are providing jobs or internships ( uses Microsoft teams).

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

1. I chose this course only because of it's faculty members and as a matter of fact I am from the commerce stream. 2. Teacher student ratio is 1: 45 as per my knowledge. Teachers are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They use smart classrooms but nowadays we are using an online platform due to covid. 3. The faculty members are highly skilled and professional as they uses digital media to explore and explain. 4. The course curriculum is good except for hindi , etc they provide less exposure to some subjects like taxation and financial knowledge. 5. The mid semester exams are very much punctual except for the fact delays occurred due to lockdown. 6. The completion of syllables is timely but we get less time to revise things. 8. Now the holidays are previously defined in academic calendar of Delhi university. And my college provide 2 days of holiday in a week that is Saturday and Sunday. 9. The college is safe but during college politics it gets messy.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Various companies like KPMG, interglob aviation, HDFC bank , Genpact etc. came to offer internships as well as full time placement offers but due to pandemic many more offers were withdrawn. The roles offered are financial analyst, relationship manager, consultant Campus Ambassador, Social media, content creator, content writer etc. Every year a job fair is also organized for students offering them internship and PPO according to their skills and knowledge. Nowadays they use Microsoft teams platform to provide all the details regarding new internship opportunities

Placement Experience

4

1.The placement cell are actively working they always send updates to the latest jobs or internships option. A lot of companies came for the placement 2. Brand names like Amazon, deloitte etc were recruiting. RECRUITING rolls for HR and CSR took place. EY and HUGES provided roles for accounting. Salaries varied between 18000 to 36000pm 20 % got internship and 50% for jobs were selected. 3. 30% students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 30000 the lowest salary offered wis around 12000. Recruiting companies were Genpact, Aditya Birla. The highest package 3.5 lac the lowest package 1.56 lac 4. If I get the degree I'll definitely apply for any company for reasonable salary, there is no limit after what semester students become eligible for campus placement as per my knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Fees structure is consistent but at this they provide some amount of concession due to the pandemic. We got to pay fees in two installments. 2. Yeah the main point is they say that they'll provide some financial assistance but exactly they never do. 3. In all the Delhi university campus this is the most expensive college because they charge double the rate as prevails in the whole campus of Delhi university. To be exact for b.com program the fees is 22000 /year 4. Campus jobs You can do in our college but that's very nominal and it is good if you join some other part time jobs. 5. The placement cell is not at it's best here. Even though some great companies or startups visits our college for placements that are major business or commercial companies, which result in less opportunity for other courses. 6. However , they provide regular updates for internship and part time jobs, which are mostly for the startup companies but the good thing is we can now be aware via online.

Campus Life

4

1. Our college is not up to the mark for organizing fest , however the campus crowd is good, and you have access to the library all the time. 2 It is a developing college, so I believe that fest will improve in future. Apart from that we have around 30 societies in which you can be a part of any. Personally I am a part of finance and investment cell. 3. Labs, libraries and even laptops are available for the students. The main building have ACs but wifi is just for the sake of name. 4.There are 2 canteens in our college quality of food is average only. Medical facilities are average too. College encourages participation in sports by providing adequate equipment. 5. Even though there are port cabins in the classrooms they are airy and spacious. The new building is extremely well built and we will be shifting to that in 3 year 6.The library has good collection of books but short in number. In my opinion, most of the facilities was fine considering the college developed recently.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
