One of the best pharmaceutical colleges in West Bengal

I came across this college through Google where I was searching for 'best pharmacy colleges in Kolkata. This college was in the recommendation. After my WBJEE result and through counselling I got admitted in this college. I preferred this college over others because I found out many good reviews as well as a there were many reputed pharmaceutical companies visited this college already in the past from Google. So I decided to keep this college in the top of my counselling choice filling form. Luckily I got into this college and I am very happy for that.

There are many courses that this college offers but I chose B.Pharm because I was always interested in the field of medicine from a very long time. The course curriculum was designed by AICTE and quite comprehensive. The faculty student ratio of our college is also good . The faculties are highly experienced and impart overall understanding of the course as well as prepares us to strive in this competitive professional world. Most of them are PhD holders and have many years of past experiences. They take our classes on a regular basis and also teaches each and every topic well. Also they give us assignments on daily basis. Four continuous evaluations are conducted for each subject and two practical assessments are done for each semester followed by the University examinations.

Campus Placement is quite strong with many reputed companies visiting frequently and also recruiting a bulk of students from this college. From 7th semester onwards every student gets the opportunity to apply for the campus placement. Reputed pharmaceutical companies like Eli Lilly, Cipla, Fresenius Kabi, Novo Nordisk, Macleods, Alembic, Mendine pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, Advantmed India LLP, etc visits and recruits many students on campus. A huge number of students get recruited from campusing. There are options for higher studies as well like M.Pharm.

The fees structure is quite reasonable and affordable according to me. There are facilities of giving semester fees in instalments. There is no such scholarship scheme at bachelor level as per my knowledge but at master's level they give a certain amount of stipend per month to each student which is really helpful. The campusing cell of this college is quite strong. Many eminent pharmaceutical and technology companies visits our college frequently. Companies like Eli Lilly, Cipla, Fresenius Kabi, Novo Nordisk, Macleods, TCS etc. to name a few visits our college and many are selected in different positions at these companies.

Campus Life is very enjoyable and memorable. Different ceremonies are arranged in this college. Ranging from annual fest to annual sports, from technical fest to various cultural activities , all are celebrated largely in our college. The library is really a rich resource where one can find any book required for the available courses. Daily scientific magazines, journals are easily found in the library. The library also has a e-zone which is very helpful for us. The classrooms are equipped with rows of desk and chairs and projectors are also present in many classes. Our college also has many clubs such as cultural club, eco club to name a few where students can enlist themselves according to their preference.
