A Great environment and Infrastructure in the college!

Gargi wasn't on my list at this percentage but luckily this college open 11th cut off for general category and I got admitted in this college. The admission process was very hassle free but I was nervous at that time to meet the professors. Apparently, they all were friendly and this was my glorious experience with teachers. I searched a lot to take admission into a top college like Gargi initially I had taken admission in two colleges ARSD and Kalindi college. Later on I withdrawn from my admission from those two colleges. Well, I read many blogs and visited websites in search of an ideal college which now I got one. But for sure there were two websites which really helped me in comparing and selecting my colleges like shiksha.com and collegedunia.com. Initially the college was excellent for me but there were some bad aspects in my college too.

Teachers in our college are very supportive and helping. They are very friendly with their students. They are highly qualified, experienced and skilled. If you miss something because of any genuine reason or some important work, they can easily be approached and get our issues resolved. I think that the course curriculum is relevant. You are not trained just for exams but from the perspective of your interviews as well. The course curriculum is well designed according to the new industries so that students feel comfortable after joining in the corporate. It's more theory oriented and prepare students for higher education. The reason for choosing the Bachelor of commerce( B.com)program is that it is relevant to my future career as an business analyst and also I love corporate world. Faculty students ratio is somewhere around 1: 40 which is reasonable considering the huge number of students in University of Delhi.

The college arranges interdisciplinary seminars at national level every year. Summer workshops are conducted regularly. Management roles are offered in our college. A huge number of internships are offered to all the years at a regular intervals of times. Our college provides training for students on self-development and interviews skills. More than 50% of the students get placement, and top MNCs like KPMG, Deloitte, Ey etc.recruit students from this college. Well Placement cell plays an important role which enables the students to avail of career counseling sessions, information on avenue of higher/ specialized education and campus interviews and placement. Every year MNCs, banks, insurance, companies approach Gargi college for bright and talented employees.

There is a lot scope for internships during the course. The college has a well established placement cell. Placement are something every student is concerned about. Our college placement cell is super active, and it organizes many seminars, events, workshops, etc. Reputed personality come to address the audience. Top 5 companies like Ey, deloitte, KPMG, India and various other Reputed companies like Google visit our college for recruitment. Many students got a starting package range from 5-6 lakh per annum. Almost 80% of the students got the opportunity of getting placed at some of the recognized companies from different courses. The placement cell works actively to provide internships opportunities to all the students. In the Covid-19, the placement cell is working to provide students with webinars, internships opportunity and many more to enhance your resume and your personality. I too got an amazing internship from this cell like Hindustan times as a writer.

As per the course and curriculum the fees is very affordable it's just 30000 thirty thousand for the whole graduation. All the facilities are available here, and they are very nice. But there were no hostels, so students stay in nearby PGs. Sports and medical facilities are also available. My bachelor degree b.com course fee is approximately INR 10000 per annum. Scholarships are available either on merit and reservations based schemes to the students. Loans are not needed. The campus is perfectly safe for girls as it is a girls college. Also the Delhi university provides some financial aid to students from backward classes and financially weak backgrounds.

The college is 55 years old, but it has the best infrastructure. The auditorium is air-conditioned and there are spacious classrooms. Lawns are lush green and it has a unique charm attached to it. Food are available in the canteen is delicious. There is also a Nescafe shop. Wifi facility is available here, but there are always some connectivity issues persisting inside the campus. There is a huge library with a plethora of books nearly 4000 books. Sports facilities for many outdoor and indoor games are available here, including basketball cricket volleyball lawn tennis. Well I like volleyball the most! Our college's annual cultural fest, named Reverie is the best. It is the best. It is one of the most awesome and awaited times of the year for students of our college. There are a lot of societies in the college covering qll aspects like dramatic, arts and crafts, dancing, singing, social work, sports, debate etc..
