Remarks
Firstly I wanted to study mechanical engineering and the faculty for the core branches in this college is awesome. Also, they are very friendly and the lab facilities are highly equipped. The college acquires an area of about 33 acres. So you can roam freely and lots of open space playground and full of greenery. I got admitted to this college through wbjee counseling in 2019. I choose this college because of the above-mentioned reasons only. Also, it's a residential college. U can also go into many platforms such as Manab Racing, Team Vidyut which is very helpful for the core branches students. Here we can have the hands of experience of what we study. So I prefer that it's a good college where you can enjoy in all the way possible the 4 years of your life
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to study mechanical engineering so I opted for this branch and the faculty s for the core branches r highly qualified and very friendly. The exams are held timely in our college and if u study daily it's not difficult to pass the exam. The exam papers r standard.
Internships Opportunities
Wipro, Infosys, TCS provide interns. Actually, I am not much aware yet in this field but a good number of interns are provided during the span of 4 years. Some are paid interns some are not though.
Placement Experience
From 3 Rd year students r eligible for placements. The highest package is 24 lacs and many many companies visit our college. Almost 75% of students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee Structure is nearly 85000 per annum. And the hostel fee is 12000 for a semester.
Campus Life
Riviera is the annual cultural fest where many eminent singers come and perform in our college. And Prayukti is the annual technical fest which provides many platforms to participate. The events occur for almost 3-4 days. So lots and lots of enjoyment. And throughout the year many other technical and social events are held in the college. And there are ample of social groups.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms are large enough and are provided with a new pillow mattress chair and a table. The meal quality is also good and sufficient amount is being served. Registration of the hostel is done during admission only. I would prefer a hostel to live in rather than rent in a locality.
