Bhawanipur college is one of the famous and prestigious colleges of Kolkata. College gives importance not only ti studies but also to all oylther extra curricular activities. My siblings have also passed from this college so they too recommended me this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college excelled in teaching as far as my Science department was concerned. Teachers were bit strict but highly knowledgeable. Syllabus was outdated. CU Syllabus was always outdated. It changes one year after I took admission so its my bad luck.
Placement Experience
Many big companies like Wipro, HCLAnd Tcs come for recruitment. Around 10-12 students are selected by each for written examination. Small startup companies also come for recruitment. They offer 8k - 10k salary. Our college alimni include Bipasha Basu and Jeet.
College Events
Campus live was somewhat nice. College organised many intra college tournaments and one big fewt named Umang. Its one of the most famous fests in cities. Celebrities were invited every year to nake the fest more entertaining. Besides many Science fests, MUN events also yook place in college. Participating in them was difficult as students were extremely talented.
Campus Life
All facilites like library, classroom is well equiped with latest technology, the sport groud is also well developed.all the equipment in labs is l working with latest technology. Building is well established and all other facilites like canteen area, parl area, Gym also.excellent designed by university.
Hostel Facilities
Yes.really i much enjoyed my hostel life with my roommates.such a incredibles roommates.hostel rooms are well designed nd well furnished. Desigend accordingly to enter the sun rays in every morning in all the rooms. Mess is also.well furnished.breakfast, lunch and dinner of mess, is so testy like my home. I always remember the food which we had eaten in the mess.
