College For Naval architecture

1.5 rating out of 100 ,college doesn't provide atleast a ground for students , It's because of we shifted to new campus this last year .We hope everything will come up But it's like they are not bothered about such thing Our college has 100 acres and there is only 4 buldings in our compound, 1 academic block ,1 hostel and 2 workshops

This is a 4 year course having 8 semesters ,if we got arrear we should pass the next in the next chance otherwise we will get year back,faculty is not much good in our campus ,though Naval archi is the only course there is only 250+ students ,so that we can't get a college vibe

Placement cell of our college is good ,and placements are accordings to the ups and downs in the naval architecture industry,some companies conduct exams and selected graduates have to attend interview and according to the performance of the interview they will get placement

Freshers day University day Onam celebration Ganesh chaturthi Diwali Christmas Cultural festivals Sports and games The techno cultural management fest of IMU VIZAG is named as shrestha All the celebrations , cultural festivals all are intiated by students only

Fee Structure is expensive 100000 rs for each semester and 25000 in odd semesters We have to pay additional fee for exams and all .We can pay the fee through banks ,NetBanking etc . They didn't provide any transparency in the fee breakdown But every central government engineering colleges have like fees

College didn't provide any scholarship opportunities for students We have to find every options our own I opted for education loan through sbi bank

Naval architecture don't have much girls ,90% students are boys,college doesn't support any political activities inside college,there so many student initiative cultural,tech societies Though it's a central university we can understand different cultures

Alumni are helpful in case of any festivals and all,if we seek help from alumni they will provide us

There is a entrance exam named IMUCET ,I got 2000+ rank in that exam I was interested in naval architecture and IMU is second best college after CUSAT for naval architecture,our college provides best softwares required in our field There are only a few government colleges for naval architecture in india

Like every other colleges there is also good and bad faculties,some are just coming to earn money,they don't look after students they don't care or supportive,But some faculties are coming for students ,they are too supportive and caring But the director of Visakhapatnam campus is not capable of a director of a university campus
