Remarks

It was a great four year experience I wish I could go back to those days again.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very engaging and informative. From the very first semester we were groomed to take responsibility at the best. The laboratory works gave us insight and interest in the subjects taught. The exam structure was great. Along with weekly test and evaluation we had a semester in every 6 months

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement was good with average package of 4-6 lakhs. Infosys, Wipro, adani Wilmar, nestle, India army, shantha biotech were few companies that visited the campus. The recruitment process had 3-4 steps depending on the company. Starting with general aptitude test, then general discussion, process knowledge and hr interview. Almost 80% of students were placed

College Events

5

Cultural groups were there very active. And the college fest is to look out for. There were opportunity for singing dancing acting as well. The yearly fest allowed people to showcase their talent. The management encourages cultural activities as well

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, not too costly. Payment was made on semester basis which included hostel. Other than that food was not included. Each semester fee was around 42000 excluding food.

Fees and Financial Aid

No.

Campus Life

It was a huge residential campus filled with lush greenery. Hostel life was the most interesting and intriguing part. Friends fun and food. Cultural programs were to look out for. Sports and activities was also there. Name it and u have it! Basketball, football, cricket, badminton, etc.ost interesting part was the yearly fest.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. The hostel room were spacious and had was sharing based. 3 and 4 seaters. The hostel food was good and had various options. The washroom were cleaned daily.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, alumni interaction was good enough. We got to talk to our seniors who helped us understand the profeesional world.

Admission

Initially I appeared for the West Bengal joint exams. After results I made haldia institute of technology as one of my choice of institute. After 2 Nd counselling I got confirmation. Dates depends year to year. In my year the exam took place around April and the result was announced in may. Then the counselling process starts. College session starts from August

Faculty

4.5

The faculty was very approachable and friendly. Classes were interactive and weekly assessment helped us understand our score and area that we need to focus. And as they stayed inside the campus it made interaction lot more easy. Moreover facilities are accessable through phone as well.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
