Remarks
My conclusion is it was a decent college with a decent college life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is of 4 years divided in 8 semesters. Each sem has 3 unit tests. 2 are mandatory. 3rd is optional. The teachers give suggestions for the semester, unit tests. There are well setup laboratories. We also went for industrial visit in Dr Reddy's Vizag. We went for training in Cipla Sikkim.
Placement Experience
Due to covid-19 placements are affected. Though we were given chance for many companies like GSK, Mendine, Artek, Cipla, Nestle. Many are more to come. The tentative placement is 4.5 Lpa. The basics are aptitude, GD, PI. It's taking steps to make sure we get placed.
College Events
We conduct fest for 2 days. We conduct skill x exam with credit points of 4. Total 100 marks. We have other colleges participating. Freshers are also conducted in September. But this year we don't know what is in the future. Everything is ruined this year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit expensive. Every semester costs about 55k. So yeah it's a bit expensive. Yes we need to pay examination fee exclusive of semester fee. There is transparency in the fee breakdown. Library charges, laboratory charges are there.
Fees and Financial Aid
No i didn't avail an educational loan. But a few if my friends did and the college helped them in that.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is less. But in the upcoming batches it's increased. Every batch has appx 100 students. We have spacious classes with good quality benches. Politics is everywhere sir. There's no ragging in the campus. We as a batch of 2016 made sure there was no ragging. We did do dorm parties and there was cultural events going on.
Hostel Facilities
No i didn't. My house was nearby. But the hostel is good. There are many mess around the college. The food is sent from the college canteen. We have it in the campus. It's good food. Hygienic. I don't know much about the hostel tho.
Alumni/Alumna
We are the first batch hence we are the alumni of this course. There are other batches in other departments that passed out before us and are successfully placed now.
Admission
Management quota. I went to the office and got the admission done then and there. It's a good location. The faculty is good. B.pharm is Pharmacy. I opted for it due to it's diversity. And recognition. In the current situation, pharmacy is what's saving us. So i was driven towards this motto of saving lives.
Faculty
The college starts at 9.30 and there are lectures for 50 minutes everyday based on the subjects. It's hectic initially. But it's chill in the final year. Attendance is a must 75%. The HOD is a Jadavpur University graduate PhD holder. All the faculty has industrial experience.
