Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is very good, there are several opportunities and placement is not very good. campus placement isn't that good. But university provides seminars which help the students for a greater knowledge. Classes are taken via lecture method and notes are provided
Placement Experience
Placement is not upto the mark. JU provides placement but it has to be improved especially in the arts faculty.
College Events
There are several events which take place like Sankriti where freshers perform and bands are Also invited. It's a huge fest. Other academic programs are also held like presenting research paper. Jadavpur University organizes MUN which helps students a lot.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. The fees is rupees 1235 per semester so that students from all the section can afford education and the fees is taken ones the admission is done via cash. Fees is actually very nominal. Scholarships are also available for students who cannot afford.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students who cannot afford the semester fees they are given scholarship. Also if further scholarship is required application form has to be given.
Campus Life
Jadavpur university is a co aid university and it's very liberal as it's an autonomous university. Students do not have to follow any dress code and there is no kind of discrimination done here. All students are welcomed in jadavpur university and they are treated well.
Hostel Facilities
No, I didnt need hostel because I live here only. Those who come from out stations they need hostel. Each hostel room has 2 shares and 4 share rooms are also available. Washrooms are also provided so students will not have a problem
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are really helpful. Right from admission to academic help. Seniors help a lot. Also teachers help a lot.
Admission
I chose this course for the career options as well as the faculty, it's a well known university with great profeesors and infrastructure. The fee structure is also set according to student needs so that students from all sections can apply. Jadavpur university is well known for international relations coarse.
Faculty
Faculty is very good, profeesors provide good education, classes are taken regularly by them and they help students with any kind of difficulty. There are many libraries so students can take help from the library, all kinds of books are available and also the Xerox fee is very nominal.
