VIT is one of the premiere college for B.Tech. The placement history has been fabulous which had been a major driver for my decision. The environment VIT provides you can help you outshine in your career irrespective of the field.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses was thoroughly revised every 1 or 2 year taking in inputs from alumini as well as present student to know the interests. The majority of faculties were good enough, with some being there without any knowledge but the rest had excellent knowledge as well as communication skills.
Placement Experience
The opportunities are endless, from getting 30-40LPA to 3LPA. The range is quite huge and the number of companies visiting is way too high. You might get tired by applying in all the companies. From big companies like PayPal, Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra to small start-ups all come and visit the campus for placement.
College Events
The campus life was decent enough. You don't have much things in campus but compared to Vellore campus, yoh have the opportunity to go out and roam the city which you might not be able to do in Vellore. The technical and cultural festivals are both good and upto a decent scale.
Campus Life
The sports facilities are not too good, the wifi is a pretty decent one. The library is well established with huge variety of books across the domain. The labs are well fitted with equipment but the lack of proper maintenance hinders the quality sometimes.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel were very nice with great features. The security is good with 24 hour cctv surveillance installed. The housekeeping staff is available till late 10PM atleast. The wardens are not too good but yes they sometimes understand your concern.
