As an overall review our college is really a good one and since it's a new college not all the facilities are available. But with passage of time it will surely be one of the best colleges in WEST BENGAL.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in our college is designed by AICTE keeping track of modern developments. So yes our syllabus are up to date with latest information and finest knowledge. The range of books covered are from foreign authors to Indian authors. Most of the books suggested by AICTE are latest versions which provide us with deep knowledge on each and every subject.
Placement Experience
Well as I have mentioned earlier our college is a new one so the very first batch of our college passed in this very year 2020. Most of the students from CSE & ECE dept had a very good off campus placements in various IT sectors like COGNIZANT, WIPRO, TCS. The core dept students like ME, CE, EE had their on campus placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible since it's a government college. The fees for CSE & ECE dept each year is ?16,000 and for ME, CE, EE is ?8,000. So this range is easily affordable by anyone from any background. This fees is usually decided by the affiliated University of makaut.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't opted for any scholarship program but my other friends have taken scholarships. Most of the cases the scholarship information are given in the college by the admin office and students with all the required documents are given scholarships.
Campus Life
Well besides studies extracurricular activities are must and I am proud to say that our college has been sportingly organizing these events from the very first day. We have inter - department football, cricket, badminton, volleyball matches moreover our college takes part in other inter college tournaments. Besides sports students here also have huge interests in cultural and technical activities. For that we have various clubs, such as : THEATER CLUB, DEBATE CLUB, LITERARY CLUB, TECH-O-NICKS CLUB, PEP-TALKS CLUB. We celebrate all the cultural festivals of India.
Alumni/Alumna
This has not been formed yet since our college is a new one and alumni network is still under development. But the seniors in our college are really very helpful and co-operative and they are really friendly.
Admission
Well admission in our college is done on the basis of WBJEE RANK. After the wbjee results are declared we have to sit for online counselling where we register for our desired college and dept. Then on the day of counselling the result comes out and we get to know whether we were selected in our desired college or not. There are basically 3 rounds of counselling followed by spot counselling.
Faculty
The faculties in our college in quite good. Since our college is a new one so some departments don't have all the facilities and faculties available all the time. This is filled with visiting faculties from other institutions. But the faculties are highly qualified with deeper knowledge on the subject they teach. They are really student friendly and tries to help students all the time.
