Remarks
In 2011, it was one of the most popular and prestigious university of Dehradun in terms of studies and placement. Also, fees was less as compared to other colleges. By 2015, it became very clear that there is no scope of placement. Faculties clearly told to look outside for jobs. I personally after that never recommended anyone to join for any course. Now fees is almost 3 times with no scope for placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was good. Syllabus was not updated and is completely old. 3 Industrial visits done among which 2 were done on personal expenses and arrangements. Exposure to practical learning was very low.
College Events
Grafest was there twice a year. It was 1 day event with games and activities in daytime and musical night in evening. It was average with no arrangements for food stalls. Tech events occurred only on grafest daytime.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't got any scholarship. However, scholarship was there for students who scored 70% or above in 12th irrespective of board. Loan facility was there as PNB branch is inside campus where you can apply for loan. Few friends of mine applied for it.
Campus Life
Poor infrastructure as building was under construction in 2011-15. There was no WiFi in campus. Single room cafeteria with few fast foods was at that time. Normal library where required course books were hardly available and labs were new so they were we'll equipped.
Hostel Facilities
I had never opted for college hostel due to poor quality food. I took PG nearby my campus where I got single room and good quality food at very low rates. Average room changes and food together in total costed me 3700/- per month in 2011 till 2015.
