Remarks
The infrastructure is nice and the teachers are very hardworking with the patients though the college is small and has two colleges in the same surrounding. The placement is also nice and the cse department is the dream stream of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good we have all the subjects needed for Data Science but, since we were the 1st batch of our course the faculties and management were not enough capable or experianced to handle us. The management really needs to work on their management skill. Our most of the faculties are very well read but some are really not much experianced. We had a prof names Romil Roy who was from IIT KGP who was really well read about the subject unfortunately he left our college,because he got better opportunity in a multinational company. College didn't give us enough idustrial exposure related to our subject. In fact some of were given internships which are not related to our curriculum. The books didn't come timely. In some semesters books came before our internal exams and the quality of the books are really bad, we mainly rely on the notes of our faculties. Management really needs to look into the book selection carefully.
Internships Opportunities
Yes currently I am interning with a startup compant named eWards as an Internal Analyst. I do get a good stipend of Rs 7000/-. To get this internship I had to gave an internview on skype because of this lockdown. Some companies like to take a coding round then a PI round.
College Events
The campus life is very happening.A very beautiful life it is in the college,frnds are very supporting. All the students are well behaved. The Only problem is that some of the teachers teach in bengali which is a problem for the students who come from other states.
Campus Life
Our infrastructer is really bad considering the amount of fees they are charging. We don't have a open campus. We only have a 11story building where we can't go and sit somewhere to chill or have some chit chats with our friends. We just have our classroom for sitting. Yess we do have air conditioned rooms atleast. We have a projector also in the class rooms. The labs are not that much equiped but it is not that bad. The problem is we didn't get a lot of practicle classes and the classes we had we didn't learn that much from there. I personally prefer watching youtube tutorials in that time as I will get soo much to learn in that 1hour instead of going to the practicle lab. I don't know about any sport facilities in my college. We don't have wifi in our campus. The Library is at a 10min walking distance from our building in the main university building. So we didn't bother to opt the library facility.
