The non teaching staff is great. I have never faced any kind of issues due to the college management in the span of the years that I have been a student here. They are ready to help you 24*7.

I got in through my 12th boards marks. It is close to my home and the course I opted was the best they offer.

It actually focuses a lot on accounts and finance like the name of the course suggests. It covers the whole ipcc portion over the six semesters. We have 7 subjects in the first four semesters. And then we also have 6 subjects in the last two semesters. The subjects are pretty easy to understand. They actually cover what you have done in 12th CBSE as well. Scoring is a plus point. Scoring is really easy. They ask you give questions for final exams. The marks are divided like 25-75. 25 for internal examination and 75 for examination.

No, it doesn't provide any kind of internship. Though we can find a place to intern on our own and they will support us completely. Also they sometimes recommend places for us to do our internship if we wish to. For our course it is no compulsion of any kind to do internship but for courses like Bms it is very much compulsory.

There are over twelve to thirteen good companies that come to our college. As it is only graduation degree the maximum they offer us is 3.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like WNS, TCS, ENY come to our college. There are companies for all the streams and all the specializations.

The main event of our college is SIESONS. All the students irrespective of the streams can be a part of organizing this event. Being a part of the organizing committee of this fest is a life changing experience. We have over 17 committees to be a part of. A total workforce of 300 volunteers working towards one goal. Other than SIESONS we have departmental fests as well. We have EPOCH as the departmental fest of BAF. Then we have Frames, one of the biggest film festival of India, the departmental fest of BMW.

The fees if very much feasible for a normal family. It is around 18000 per semester, focus on the word per semester. One semester is stretched over 6 months approx. But these six months include a vacation of two to three months after the final examination.

We have some scholarship programs that I am not really sure of. No loan facilities are available though. But for students having a family monthly income Below 10000 the college provides with free books and a lot more facilities.

The gender ratio in my class is a total mismatch. We have a ratio of 52:9 where the are 52 girls and 9 boys. Whereas overall the college has a pretty good gender ratio. Almost equal no. Of girls and boys. Though the college is full of South Indians we find North Indians as well but comparatively less in no. SIES is South Indian Education Society, so can't help with the majority. The campus is huge with and amazing canteen, cafeteria, parking space, spacious classrooms. There is no ragging in our college and the college authorities are pretty strict about this. The economic status of both the college and the students is good. We are not allowed to throw a Freshers party, though we do it unofficially anyway. Graduation day and fests are celebrated with full amusement.

We don't have hostel facilities. Paying guest facilities are also rare. You can find rooms on rent nearby. The rent varies though. You can share the rented room with friends or you can find a room already having girls/boys staying. I have a friend who stays in an apartment on rent with a bunch of other girls. They share the rent. She alone pays around 5000 per month. They have an the facilities including kitchen, different cupboards, that apartment Is basically designed like a hostel room.

The alumni of this college organise events and connect with the students. They share their experiences with everyone and are available whenever need. I being a part of the alumni committee have constant contact with the alumni of this college.

The exam structure is like this - 25 marks internal examination which contains 20 marks written exam and 5 marks based on your performance in the class, it includes attendance and interactions during the class. Rest is a written test of 75 marks at the end of every semester.

After the results of 12th HSC boards were declared we had to apply online first. And then get the form from the college. I didn't face any difficulty while the process. The whole staff was very helpful. After submitting the form I just had to sit back and relax and wait for the admission list to come out. And there it was, my name in the first list.

The faculty is brilliant. They have a lot of knowledge to share. They don't teach you as teachers, they consider you your own kid and teach you so that you get good marks. They also take attendance very seriously. They encourage you to take part in extra cost curricular activities, but if your site's get affected by it then they might be the biggest hurdle of your life. They will hunt you down and you will have no option left other than to sit for lectures. They keep constant check on you. Though it might seem a little annoying but it is really important otherwise it actually becomes impossible to catch up with the portion.
