Remarks

In the palpara village area the college is very renowned. Many students came to study in our college from near districts also. And tuition fees is very affordable and also this college is government undertaking. No ragging held in college premises.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very updated and informative. Our college is Vidyasagar University undertaking. This college has good classrooms. And also teachers are very friendly and most are doctorate. The teachers give us free notes.

Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

This is normal government college and also dont provide any professional courses like BCA and BBA. For this no placement offered from our college. But you can get many internships from our college.

College Events

Campus life is very good. Many events held in our college throught the year. We celebrate many festivals and organize activties like tree plantation and blood donation. No dirty politics held in our college.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
