Remarks

I opted this college because of the reviews i got from old students and also based on search reviews. From this i came to know that this is a good college. I opted this course because of my interest to know more about programming.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was updated. They have tried to include upcoming technologies. Which was benifcial. The faculties were very helpful. They were always there to clear our doubts and also encourage us to learn new things.

Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Placement Experience

There are good placement oppertunities for students. Many companies like TCS, Wipro. visits the college. Majority of students utilise this oppertunity and get placed.

College Events

There are many programs organised by the college. They also encourage maximum participation of students in it. There a tech fests which provides us an oppertunity to know more about technologies and also to showcase our skills.

Campus Life

our college has a well maintained infrastructure. we have high speed wifi. The library is spacious and provides a very good environment too read peacefully. The lab is also provided with all necessary facilities.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
