Remarks

One of the best option in the range of marks that I had. It's located in pune, so it's easier to connect in the IT industry. Also it's one of the branch of Sinhgad institutes, so it does have a wide range of mind-blowing fests. Also it comes under SPPU University which is one of the best

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was the most updated one according to the guidelines of SPPU. Faculties were decent enough. The only problem is they are too concious about your attendance, this really is gets me off.

Sinhgad institutes are well known for their fests. They host the city's largest college fest " Sinhgad karandak". Here, art is valued. Edm nights, rock band, singing, dancing, fashion shows and many more.

Campus Life

Library is good, but too crowded. It has 4 floors but is shared between 6 to 7 colleges. The college building is quite old. But the campus is just stunningly beautiful. with lots of trees and natural air. Evenings here are just a candy to our eyes.

Hostel Facilities

College Hostel was quite good. With 60k gor a year, it had a decent infrastructure. Hot water facility, nice beds. It had 4 floors and each room was shared by 4. It also had wifi, which rarely worked.

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

Actually I applied to various colleges but due to slightly less percentage than the cut-off Didn't get admission anywhere else for my desired branch. Choosing this college was not actually on my list but parents said it is good and well reputed too. Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges.
