- The first year batch teacher of my college are well experts in their respective subjects.They provided lots of study material and complete topic explanation.
- I like the various cultural events that goes on in the college ,they motivates me to be part of social activities
- Many technical and non technical groups are there to join during your whole four year journey as they arrange various competitions.
Dislikes
- From second year onwards i felt like the staff of my college is not that well experienced in the subject they teach.
- The focus is always on complete those long assignments without understanding them ,the teachers just want us to write those and submit.
- Dont have proper guidance about any course ,for example we have to do internship in out third year but the college has not provided about which internships are valid to do and which are not.
Course Curriculum Overview
The specific reason is just computer science engineering as it is trending one and i wanted to learn coding and build my own websites . Our curriculum is providing every subject we need to learn for future in computer engineering.Every trending subject is also in the syllabus like AI or Data science. The improvement is like keep the subjects like internships course more clear because when we ask for what we have to do in that internship they just confuse us more.The college is not providing any clarity about it. The frequency and timimg are well organized for the exams as we get fully prepared though all syallabus is covered by us only.
Placement Experience
from seventh semester the students become eligible for placements . various companies like accenture,PTC,BNY has visited our college.Microsoft has offered one student a 55LPA package from our college.The average package they give is 4.5LPA . The students getting placed are maybe 80 percent. My plans for now are try for placements from on campus if not selected i will try for off campus but i am really confident that i will get a job till my last year.My plans after graduation are working in the top MNC.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am from general category and my fees per year is rs 100370 and for other category it is half for OBC and for SC/ST it is about 2370 only. The tuition fees is about 60000 and other fees are distributes equally .While admission i was made to pay extra 10000 rs including 100370.
Campus Life
The annual event our college held is karandak and it is one of the most biggest event in our college city. There are various books in our college like a lot.Many academic and non academic books are there. The classrooms are the worst part of my college there is not a proper technical support for mic or even projector. Various sports are conducted from many college groups only . I am member of a student club named IEEE .It has helped me a lot to bring self confidence in me.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is totally fine when comes to rooms and lawn area. But the food provided is not so good and i hate it. Hostel registration is the worst like we have to to admission of next sem for hostel rooms during our main exams and it is so hectic. They do not even talk properly.They Say to pay whole fees before even selecting our room.
Admission
Through my MHTCET exam i got enrolled in this college as it was the only one in my marks range regarding computer branch. I would i have got better colleges but the branch will be Electronics or mechanical or civil maybe. Our college has better campus area than other ones.The ambience is so so good. But from teaching and placement and internship perspective it is not so good than other colleges. The admission process is you apply through mhtcet portal for various colleges and you get selected through your marks range. There are some management through admissions in our college by paying 6-7 lakhs maybe.
Faculty
Our faculty and student ratio is quite good .As there are atleast five teachers for one subject.But the problem is that many of the teachers are unable to say or express their knowledge. Many teachers teach quite good,but some just read ppt and expect us to understand what they teach. There are many teachers or professors which i dont like because they do partiality in students.Many times we try to approach professors for doubts but some just ignore us like we never existed. Exams are conducted once per month like unit test ,mid test,end sem test like prelim.They are quite helpful for main exams.
Night Life
The best part of the day is nightlife of the college .The college campus is too good to hang around.Like it is best in rain season as we have lots of trees in our college. It is just like living on a mountain. My favourite spot to hang around is our parking it is so big that every night we go to play badminton there and there are lots of student playing various sports like volleyball,cricket,football. We have various shops in the campus too.
