Remarks
The admission process was simple. The staff and the students at the admission desks were humble and friendly. I didn't feel like an outsider or fresher even for a second. It was at the end of June when the first cut-off list came out, scratching Delhi heat but the atmosphere inside the college was cool due to a good number of trees also they provided packed drinking water to everyone. The admission process included calculation of the best 4 subjects and verification of documents and according to the number of seats available ( on a first come first serve basis ) according to merit list admission was completed. The payment link was activated by the next day and remained active for the next 2 days so that was a huge relief and no pressure at all for paying the fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
Being a commerce student in class 12th, B.com (Hons) was just the perfect course. I had maths in class 12th which is very important for BCom Hons otherwise you will get BCom ( prog ). There are enough faculty for every department consisting of HOD, associate, assistant, and guest professors. The teachers and faculty members are extremely helpful and friendly. The semester exams which are 75 marks are always on time as the date sheet released by the university. And internal exams consist of 25 marks out of which 20 marks are for assessments /assignments/presentations and the rest 5 marks for attendance. If you read the syllabus and what is taught in the class you can easily score a decent grade (8 or 9 ).
Internships Opportunities
The campus internship was for 2 months during the semester break as an assistant in the principal's office. Stipend 5k / month. The campus internship is also for 2 months so as not to hamper the college classes. Few are stipend based. Rest provides you with a certificate to boost your CV.
Placement Experience
Mostly 3rd-year students are eligible for campus placements. Though 2nd-year students can apply for internships. Roughly 30 companies are there for placements and 80% get selected too. Average salary - 8 L / annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees as compared to other private colleges are much cheaper and affordable. Approx 13000 / year. There are many scholarships for Delhi students, meritorious students, and EWS. Many reputed companies like Amazon come for campus recruitment.
