Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is well updated. Faculty tries to provide maximum industrial exposure. Faculties have proven to be excellent during their teaching sessions and other activities. They provide mental support in fulfilling all our tasks which seem to be tougher than expected.

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

TCS INFOSYS MINDTREE COGNIZANT ACCENTA The alumni networking for job referrals are working really well.

College Events

Technical events are conducted, branch-wise where students off all the departments take part in various competitions and technical events. Cultural events are conducted in full grandeur with a reputable chief guest. All the major events are headed by the third year students.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I had applied for this course in several colleges in banglore and other places. The reason which hold me here is the course affordability and good infrastructure provided by this college. This college offers BTech artificial intelligence and Data Science at the rate of 98500 per year as tution fees while other colleges offer this same course around 200000 tution fee per year which is a better reason for studying this college. The college also provide scholarships for students on the basis of their plus two marks and keam ranks which will cover their entire tuition fee which helps the students to study in a cost effective way and also increase the quality of education.
