Remarks

It is situated near my home town. Also, being in an such a beautiful place, you get to see natural scenery which you will definitely love. The staff and faculty are friendly, but strict. You aren't allowed to roam after 7pm. But, the scenes from the terrace are so soothing that you will not go anywhere else. Eventually, if you are lucky, you may see animals like tiger and panther. Being in an remote area, there aren't much places to go. You will end up roaming in the famous Mall Road. All the other necessary things are available in the campus itself. Overall, Jaypee Solan is a nice place to study as well as for witnessing natural beauty. You will definitely not regret coming here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and syllabus is very huge for engineering. However, you can manage to get good marks just by studying few nights before exam. Workshops are conducted, but just for the sake of banners. A very less practical knowledge is provided, but you can get certificates and other perks by licking some teachers ass(sorry).

Placement Experience

The placement from here are decent, offering packages around 4-8 lpa. If you are smart enough, you can grab even worth of 15lacs, which is highest from here. Several Tech and IT companies come here from the starting of 4th year, so you get enough time to compete and prepare.

College Events

There are many students in our college, coming from different parts of the country, and from overseas also. So, you will get to see many cultural heritages, and will surely enjoy them. You can easily participate in them by connecting to your seniors.

Campus Life

The equipments are updated and easy to use. Library is large enough, and you can spend a large part of your day here. High speed WiFi is available all over the campus, so no issues here. Sports fest and activities are conducted frequently.

Hostel Facilities

Now, coming to the hostel, they are spacious and comfortable. As in winters, temperature goes down as -10 C, heaters are available here. You will enjoy making friends here. Through several fests and campaigns, you can make so many friends that all your pocket money will suck up in giving them parties.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements.
