Remarks

The college has an air conditioned computerized.The college has an air conditioned computerized open access library with a collection of about 38,000 books apart from various journals, magazines and news papers. The General Library has internet facilities for the students. In addition there is a Seminar Library in each Honours department for ready access to books. The college provide two different timings morning and evening, for the students to select as per their convenience. The College student council organises talent shows, cultural programmes. Easy conveyance is available.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.com Honours course is a business oriented program focusing on business, accounts, taxation accounting. The syllabus covers all required study. Students could also focus on different courses like CA, CS, CFA side by side. Their teachings facilities is also good

College arranges many seminars per year for the students. Every year companies like Deloitte, Wipro other companies come and interact and take interview for 3rd year students. 50-60% students got placements through the placement councilling programs.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
