Remarks
University provide few seates for jammu and kashmir migrants. I heard a lot about this university from my school friend and about it's excellence in agriculture field. University being first agriculture to be established and also being best government university so i decided to appeared for entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses are good. Gets difficult if you have no agriculture background or have a basic knowledge regarding this. Faculties are good but are generally biased and this can't be denied. Professors generally give and prefer those students who are in constant contact with them or wish them on every occasion apart from that they are hardworking and knowledgeable.
Placement Experience
Placement is almost nil or very few just right after graduation from this university but some extraordinary students get placed with package of around 15 lpa from agriculture field.
College Events
Campus life fine as being a government university some infrastructure are not well developed neither are they maintained properly. Seniors are very helpful and are supportive towards Juniors and always guide for betterment. Extracurricular activities, seminars l, workshops are organised with huge number of participants from students side from different colleges.
