Remarks

The college is very good campus facilites and faculties are too good compared to nearby college. Also total tuition is very low 12500 rupees. So this is very affordable for the BA degree with Hons. under Vidyasagar University.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm currently pursuing BA Hons History from the college. This college has faculties very helpful and smart. And we get weekly mock test and notes facility from our college faculties. And this college's exam fees is too low.

Most of student wont get any job offers. Also there is no campusing facility from the college cause this a general college.

College Events

Throughout the year many activites held in our college annual festivals, blood donation camp, campus cleaning, sports, women sports, cricket and football tournment etc held in our college every year. This is very joyful.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
