Remarks

This college is very renowned in Palpara area. The fees is very affordable, just 12500. Many students came to our college from different districts also. The college has good faculties members and it is a Vidyasagar University undertaking college. So I choose the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Currently I'm pursuing BA Hons History from college. Also this college is very popular for science subjects in our locality. Faculties members are strict and friendly in the same time. And also we get many before exam special classes.

Course Fees: INR 12500 per year

Placement Experience

No campusing facility available. But some companies came to us for inviting in their interviews. Also internship opportunity available.

College Events

Campus life is very good. And campus is very neat and clean. We organize many festivals and extra curricular activities in our college like football cricket table tennis tournment, women sports etc held in our college. In our college fest many actors came.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
