Remarks
1- Freedom to explore, develop as an entrepreneur or artist. Teachers are very supportive in everything. 2- Low academic pressure, enough time to prepare for further studies, engage in research(supported by teachers), enjoy life or just branch out into professions by going in internships.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is up-to-date, the marketing wing of B.Com needs a little upgradation. Teachers are really supportive. If you don't understand any particular subject teacher, just go and sit in another section (Doesn't really matter if nobody gets to know). Field trips and industrial visits don't happen so often, asking teachers for the same will surely help.
Placement Experience
Placements opportunities are there but don't expect to get placed if your specialization in B.Com was Entrepreneurship. Earlier there were less companies coming on campus with Marketing job offers but that has changed over the years and the opportunities available now for all students are much better.
College Events
For entrepreneurship, the college has government support and you will surely get a push. Regarding fests, the college is in Pune and well connected to Mumbai, much to explore. If you are willing to put in the work, Goa to Ahmedabad, you can conquer it all. Important point- Do not wait for the college to initiate any project. Step up, take charge and propose- College will support.
Campus Life
Academic infrastructure is up-to-date with smart boards and online study and test mechanism imbibed. A peaceful library and study room as well. But If you want a lavish college with acres of land to roam about, this is certainly not the place to choose.
