The college is always giving importance to the academics ,this college is very best for those who are very disciplined and very silent and for those who need only academics in theirs course of study.

Kerala entrance examination for engineering admission , i scored 212 in 600 . I chose the particular college since it is very near to my location.

The course curriculum was limited to books and the degree of practical knowledge gained was very less . Mechanics , structural analysis, structural design, transportation engineering, geotechnological engineering, environmental engineering and survey were the major subjects. Architectural and town planning waste management , urban transportation planing were the electives

The college is always ready to fulfill the formalities for internship outside the college , that is in any other institution . But permissions are granted only in vacations or holidays and no stipend are provided.

There is only better placement for IT departments . But for civil engineering department there are no better placements . Infosis , accenture were the major companies come for placement in this college . I am not clear about the packages offered by this company . A bond of one year is set by the company and are paid around 16000 at starting.

The major events celebrated in college are College day in February, Arts day in November , Sports day in December , Tech fest in October , Onam celebrations in September, Christmas celebration in December, Food fest in August . And many more occasional events are celebrated such as Independence day, Teacher's day, Children's day, Church Feast etc.

The fee structure was not feasible . I joined the college in govt seat but since the college was owned by christian management a refundable deposit of ₹one lakh and yearly fees of ₹75000 was to be paid , which was very expensive , other than this exam fees of ₹700 was paid for every semester along with a special yearly fees of ₹6000 .

Only one particular scholarship is encouraged by the college and management that is minority scholarship which is granted to students belonging to minority community that is Christians . The collage is promoting this scholarship since the college is run by christian management. By the involvement of college any one who is christian either rich or poor will get this scholarship of ₹25000 per year.

Sahrdaya college is mainly a well disciplined and ragging free campus , thus female candidates are more attracted to this college hence strength of female students is about double that of male students here. There was an hour every day for extracurricular activities such as debate group discussion etc . This college have a very poor performance in sports since its is not at all encouraged here.

The hostel facilities are best, since hostel is inside the campus and is very hygienic and well maintained . The college hostels are ragging free are equipped with all required facilities including free wifi and telephone connection. The college mess is very hygienic and is hawing massive area. The hostel fee for one semester is around ₹30000 and mess fees is ₹16000 per semester

It is compulsory to join the alumni association for those who pass out from the college .Every year after convocation there will be a gathering for the alumni members also there is a blog for alumni association members. The alumni members who are aboard and are well placed in their profession are always ready to share their ideas and thoughts through the blog.

In each semester there are three series examinations conducted of maximum mark 25 ,also 2 assignments are conducted in each semester. The marks of assignment and series test are averaged to obtain internal marks in 30 . At the end pf semester university piratical and written examinations are conducted by calicut university .

I got admission in this particular college through centralized admission process conducted based on the score obtained in kerala engineering entrance examination. When results were out, the option registration procedure started , I placed sahrdaya college and other near by college in the allotment procedure, after getting allotment in the particular college i joined there by paying the fees set by the govt of kerala.

Only some of the faculties are best for their lecture (Engineering Graphics, Chemistry) . Rest all classes were either for those students who studies well or are for somebody else . Basically most of the faculties are known for their spoon feeding method of teaching and not allow any students to think by them self.
