Remarks

Class have boards and all necessary equipment for studying but not at all smart boards and things also somewhere CCTV don't work and the seating area is normal like government school has. Lab doesn't have all needed equipment library is well maintained I must say.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers are obviously good not always in their teaching mode but as the curriculum is recently updated from cu and there are many bounderies from college so somewhere it's also difficult for them to maintain.but the curriculum Calcutta University made is really horrible for honours subjects.

It's a general category college that means provide Graduation on core learning subjects so there is no place for placements only offline campus is available not any campus placement thing available here

College Events

There is no such college campus features yes they do arrange sports and all but not so much new innovative things and also there is not any campus area belong to the college as the college area is comparably small

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

My mysterious college life

I got selected for other colleges too for this course . But I took admission in this college over any other colleges because of the faulty that I have heard from my brother . Another reason is the location. Yes it's the another reason as it's really easy to find out this college . And our college is just 1 min away from the metro station gate no 3. And any bus is available from that place . The college rating is also good . I got rejected from 1 particular college but I've no regret for that .
