Remarks

IMS is the most decent Hospitality and Hotel management college in the entire north Kolkata. The Institute has got all the features and facilities that are required to be a part of today's Hospitality sector. So I apply for the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are highly qualified and they are very efficient. In terms of preparing the students, the Faculties plays the most vital role as they especially groom and prepare each and every student and help them become suitable enough for the professional world.

Placement Experience

The placements are always made under five-star properties only like ITC Group. Hyatt Group, Marriott Group, etc and even under other branded and renowned companies and organization. the branded companies arrange for a campus interview session.

College Events

The events and celebrations play the most vital part during the completion of the course. Almost twice the year almost every celebration and events are celebrated by the institute with the help of the students and the faculties. The various cooking competitions, and national celebrations held in our college.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

It's and average college but with good facility and faculty
