Remarks

By the help of my father's colegues we came to know about this college, we were looking for a college in West Bengal with CSE course,one of the pass out student from UEM Jaipur,who was colegue of my father told us about UEM Kolkata. The things I like the most about this college is that the friendly and cooperative nature of faculties, proper educational environment, Library with sufficient books, good infrastructure and helpful seniors. I opted this course because I am interested in computer science fields and want to learn coding and become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview

We get fully updated course syllabus. Yes we get fully industrial exposure. Facilities are very friendly and helpful in nature. Srimoi mam (physics department) was the best teacher I got in my first year.

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is very good. Many reputed companies like TCS come to this college. Approx 700 students out of 800 gets job for sure. there are students who got hired for there brilliant innovative projects.

College Events

The campus life is fully busy and crowded, there are extracurricular activities like singing, making any projects but there is no proper sports activities. Sports is a very important activity which every college should have,there is no playground to play football, cricket or to sprint.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Excellence with good culture of academic and infrastructure

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
