Remarks

There is no factor it's just for a degree or certificate because my family wants that but not me. Beside that the campus of the college is big and good and there is no pressure of attendance and classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are very very old. There is no or very very little industrial exposure and lots of irrelevant assignments and theory. Bookish knowledge.There is no creative ideas. Boring bookish lectures by professors. There is no connection between the massive growth of actual world and the college education. There are lots of scam workshops or worthless workshops not only this college but also in every college.

Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Godrej, IBM, Wipro, Siemens, TATA, Reliance and I don't know anything

College Events

Campus is big but with a very very slow wifi and there are some cultural events over the years and also there is a small basket ball ground and cricket ground and there is one cafe inside the campus that is Belgium cafe

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
