The college environment, it has a beautiful view of the moutains, also i reviewed about the professors before joining and it were good comparatively to other private colleges and the fee structure seemed reasonable.
Course Curriculum Overview
There were few basic options to choose our specialization, i had opted for HR. The professors were all quite knowledgeable but unable to deliver them and create an enthusiastic class. Although there were few exceptional professors who were excellently intellectual sadly they don't teach there anymore. Course syllabus is followed from the main Doon University, 2019-21 batch follows the latest 2010 syllabus, we did get few industrial exposure since the college is in the ouskirts surrounded by industries.
Internships Opportunities
For summer internship through college placement i worked as an intern in The Leading Solutions Pvt Ltd, stipend was performance based (work from home internship)
Placement Experience
They believe that the potential lies in us, if we're capable of doing it we'll definitely achieve, Placement cell are doing their best in providing as many opportunities as possible. Until now only few good companies like wipro has come for the PGDM students unfortunately for the MBA most of the consulting companies and start up companies have only arrived. Seniors got well placed externally with a very good package of 23 lpa.
College Events
Most of the events were organised by the students themselves, they're hard working and make the best of it. The cultural fests were grand and everyone seemed to quite like it. They had inter college dance performers, very talented and the stalls were auctioned up by the students of both the MBA and BBA departments.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships for the residents of Dehradun to avail on the basis of their CAT score. The scholarships start from minimum 45%???90+% they get their discount respectively. Depedning on their Caste
Campus Life
The college is specially known for its agricultural programme and it had a beautiful vintage styled library, the overall campus wouldn't be more than 25000 Sq feet. They have basket ball, tennis court and football court. They provide Wifi facilities as well but the signal isn't very good most of the time. There are rooms for music practice and dance but very small for the number of people interested in dance. The main auditorium can fit upto 80 people maximum.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel seats are categorised according to the fields mostly depending on whether they are from MAM, MBA, BBA, B. Agri etc. There are 3 hostel buildings. The old one has mix of both senior and junior the new one has most of the PG students while another section has the new UG students. First year students can opt for hostel and the fee is around 50k - 75k if opting for 3 sharing with or without balcony and around 1 lakh for 2 sharing with balcony. There are options available for AC as well and wifi facilities, A cooler at every floor, and geyser. To avail is to reach the earliest possible and the further process will be guided by the Hostel HOD
